Bertie Ahern has made a plea for Irish meejia to be less "intrusive". He made the remark at a photo-opportunity with his daughter, son-in-law and grand-children. All pictures were taken in an unobtrusive manner, and the many hacks present were suitably subdued. Bertie looks forward to many more such non-intrusive occasions.

Bertie can complain all he likes - he is an irrelevance and will be out of government soon enough, when the media will get as "intrusive" as they did with Charlie
